Not sure which one applies to you?

If you signed a tenancy agreement (also called a lease) and you are renting a whole property like a house or apartment, you are a tenant.

If you signed an occupancy agreement and you are renting a room or staying in short-term accommodation (up to 90 days), you are an occupant.
